Types of Casting

Metal casting is the age-old craft of transforming molten metal into certain shapes, using a wide range of processes, each with specific advantages and appropriate applications. There is some casting process available for every form, simple or complex. Let's look at some of the most commonly used processes.

SAND DIE CASTING

We do shaping sand like clay then pouring molten metal into your work of art. It works exceptionally well for complex shapes and large projects.

INVESTMENT CASTING

Using the investment casting technique, we create metal parts of superior quality with excellent precision and surface finish. The investment casting process provides perfect dimensions and surfaces for even the most difficult shapes.

CENTRIFUGAL CASTING

Using high-powered, seamless centrifugal force we can create flawless components such as tubes and pipes. Utilizing centrifugal casting, we can fabricate anything from precision pilot engine components to stout piping.

GRAVITY CASTING

A straightforward but economical form of metal casting where melted metal flows downward from gravity into a permanent mold.

DUCTILE IRON CASTING

Nodular iron, or spheroidal graphite (SG) iron, has outstanding ductility, primarily due to the presence of tiny, round graphite nodules contained within the metallic matrix. As a result, it is very resistant to cracking or shock since the nodular iron’s structure is not like cast iron (with flaky graphite).

SHELL MOLDING CASTING

Shell-mold casting, puts precision and efficiency into overdrive. Just like forming a sand castle, this process allows you to coat it with a super-thin, super-strong resin shell, and then pour the molten metal in!

ALUMINUM CASTING

Aluminum, melted in furnace and transformed into liquid form is molded and shaped as the final part, the process is cooling and letting the aluminum take its final shape. Advantages are light weight, tensile strength, mobility in shape, corrosion-resistant, and good conductor.
